In addition to the orientation, you will also participate in monthly training sessions to prepare you for the service trip in July. At these training sessions, you will develop, with your team, a comprehensive English language curriculum for middle school students.

Online Volunteer Service
After embarking on the service trip to Taiwan in the summer, you will continue to meet your students online in the fall. There will be one training session in September to prepare you for teaching online lessons. In small groups, you will design and lead 10 online lessons with your students to help build confidence in their English speaking and listening.
Online Volunteer Service: September 2024 through November 2024

Summer Service Trip
You will be assigned to one of five volunteer teams. Each team serves a unique municipality, region, or school. With your teammates, you will host a two-week English language summer camp and instruct classes of about twenty students. Our camps and classes are designed around the core principle that English learning can be fun and exciting. We hope you will employ interactive activities and engaging teaching methods in the classroom to create unforgettable experiences with your students.
