Assignment 6.5: Teaching Reflection
For this assignment, write up a short 1-2 paragraph reflection of the English lesson and icebreakers, in addition to how your actions and intentions during the cops & robbers game can impact the overall teaching experience. Please check the instructions doc below for specifics.
If you were absent, please reach out to your partner and discuss how today went. There is a separate reflection for you in the doc.

No official assignment instructions or submissions this time. Please just make sure you and your teaching group are prepared for teaching students at training 6.5.
Members are to create and prepare to teach an English lesson to students, which includes a mini-icebreaker game (without use of tech). Use Eng 1-4 + SS 1 (mini debate) which I’ve attached below.

Assignment 5: Evaluating Effective Teaching
For this assignment, you’ll observe and reflect on the teaching style of one of your current teachers. Turn in your reflection no later than 11:59pm on Saturday, April 26 to your team’s folder. I know some of you have been assigned new teams, so make sure you are uploading it to the correct folder.
Note: Keep it respectful. This is not a space for venting or criticizing harshly. Practice giving honest, but respectful and constructive feedback, like you might do when working with a teammate or group leader during volunteering.

With your new partner, create a 40-minute lesson plan for your first online lesson with your students. Please review the instructions and come up with ideas for your first online lesson. Please make sure to refer to the online lesson do’s and dont’s doc and save it for future reference. Turn in your lesson plan no later than 11:59pm on Saturday, April 5.

To understand your own strengths and weaknesses as well as how to use them to work with other personality types, we’d like you to visit www.16personalities.com and take the free personality test. Take the test twice, but do it on two separate days. After you receive your results, respond to the questions in the instructions below in 2 paragraphs.
